Dhuper, Nayak, Patel dazzle in Odisha win

An electrifying knock of 156 by keeper-batsman Rajesh Dhuper and a four-wicket haul by Shubham Nayak powered Odisha to a 238-run victory over Tripura in their opening Pool A match of the Dhruv Pandove Trophy U-19 Cricket Tournament at Chandigarh today.

Electing to bat, Odisha compiled a huge total of 340 for eight and then bundled out the opposition for a paltry 102 to collect four points. Dhuper took the Tripura bowling attack to the cleaners, hitting 13 boundaries and nine sixes in his 125-ball whirlwind knock.

Lanky off-spinner Nayak made life miserable for Tripura batsmen as he scalped four wickets, conceding only 18 runs. Nayak formed a deadly combination with leg-spinner Rajkishan Patel, who picked up three wickets in one over.
